Good morning my little creative/inspiring/colorful minds!
It's the Holiday Season with Turkey Day just around the corner! The lack of updates are a result of work, attending concerts here and there, painting my garage, family dinners, basketball leagues, customizing some pieces of jewelry for friends, wedding planning, and figuring out what the heck to make for Thanksgiving next week. Yes. They are all excuses, and for that, I apologize.
Here's what I've been working on:
This was made for one of my friend's friend's birthday (did that make sense?). He wanted something classic and simple. I decided to do a simple glass lavender pearl and dark purple seed bead necklace, with all components consisting of sterling silver.
Loved the color in these greenish multi colored glass beads. Was able to find the right color in the freshwater pearls that I had and created a more Fall type looking earring.
Will be working on another necklace that a friend has asked me to create... "a casual necklace, that can be worn every day, yet bring a little pizazz to their life"... hmm... we'll see what I can come up with.
Also, my sister's wedding is approaching fast and I still have yet to design earrings to match my bridesmaid dress... pool is a beautiful color, yet do I make the earrings with multiple beads (crystals, pearls, whites), or do I create a single, simple earring with just the pool color type of bead? Will post pictures soon.
